STEP 2- SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT:

• You will be prompted to enter your email and create a secure password.

STEP 3 - ADD YOU CHILD & START LEARNING!

• Add your child
• When you click 'FINISH' you will be directed straight to the ReadIQ Schoolhouse where your child can begin their learning journey.

 PARENT SECTION:

• The PARENT SECTION can be accessed on the ReadIQ website  under the ‘login/ parent login’ menu.
• In the PARENT SECTION you can add up to 4 children using the +ADD button.
• You can add children's names, ages and keep track of their progress. 
• To the right of each child’s profile you will find a purple launch button that will launch the ReadIQ programme for that child.
• You will receive a Welcome Email after payment that will include your SECRET KEY.
• You can also access your SECRET KEY in the PARENT SECTION - Go to SETTINGS (on the left) and copy (or write down) your SECRET KEY. You will need this for direct login in STEP 2.

STUDENT SECTION:

• Anytime your child wants to work on the application they can go to the ReadIQ website and login via the STUDENT SECTION. 
• Your children will use the SECRET KEY (from Step 1) to login and choose their profile.
• From there they can launch their phonics adventure!

Yes. Each module includes decodable words or texts and reading activities that match your child’s current skill level. Our aim is to help expose your child to as many sounds and words as possible, through repetitive activities. This helps reinforce the phonics concepts being taught in each lesson. There are also lesson plans for teachers. 

While ReadIQ focuses on reading and spelling, the structured phonics instruction naturally supports early writing by helping children understand sound-letter correspondence and spelling patterns. It is our core belief that while practicing spelling, it enhances reading development; hence spelling, must be taught simultaneously when learning how to read. 

Younger children may benefit from some support early on, but ReadIQ is designed for independent use. You can choose to be involved as much as you like, and we also provide guides to help parents assist when needed.

Parents can easily follow along with lessons and access simple guides and printable resources to help support learning outside the classroom. We have created video explanations to help you understand how children learn to read and spell, and each module is carefully explained to you so you can understand why and how skills fit into the ultimate puzzle of learning how to read and spell.
